Nobody was able to stop David Vršecký from winning in Sunday’s GT Sprint as he took his Mercedes-AMG GT3 to a dominant victory. Ferenc Ficza won in a GT4 category, while Boleslav Waszek finished on the top step of the podium in GTC. Miro Konôpka finished 1st in a D5 category.
David Vršecký’s debut in the championship went perfectly well, as he leaves with 3 winning trophies. On Saturday, he won in the first GT Sprint race and then, together with Tomáš Enge, he also took the glory for a GT Endurance race win. And he remained untouchable on Sunday as well, with another 1st place finish in the second GT Sprint race. He started from pole position and did not let anybody get even near him.
Gregor Zsigo finished 2nd in the GT3 category ahead of Daniel Skalický from Duck Racing.
In the GT4 category, it was once again a thrilling battle between Sergej Pavlovec and Ferenc Ficza. In qualifying, Pavlovec had a better pace and took pole position. However, in the race, it was the same situation as yesterday, when Ficza managed to take the lead and win the 2nd race of the weekend. The RTR Projects driver finished 2nd in the end, ahead of Piotr Wira.
Kurt Wagner was trying to repeat his yesterday’s win in the GTC category, but the Mičánek Motorsport powered by Buggyra driver ran out of luck. He struggled with technical issues and had to retire. That allowed Boleslav Waszek to cross the finish line in the 1st place ahead of Bodis Kalman.
In the D5 category, it was another victory for a home Slovak driver as Miro Konôpka from ARC Bratislava team. He was joined on the podium by Petr Lisa and Maťo Konôpka.
