Marcin Jedlinski is again on the winning wave. The Polish driver dominated in the first GT sprint of the weekend at Slovakiaring. Josef Záruba finished second and celebrated the victory in GTC class at the same time and LMP winner Jacek Zielonka was third. Matěj Pavlíček took another victory in GT4.
Marcin Jedlinski absented in Grobnik last month. But this weekend, he is again on the grid and he again dominates. The Polish driver shone in first GT sprint race on Saturday. He started from pole position. But after start, he dropped two places and he was overtaken by Josef Záruba and Dennis Waszek. But he passed both drivers already in Lap 1 and he was dominant since that moment. Jedlinski achieved his sixth sprint victory of the season. He kept first place although penalty of ten seconds for collision with Libor Milota.
Josef Záruba led shorty after race began, but the Mičánek Motorsport powered by Buggyra driver had to settle on second place at the finish. But he also could celebrate the victory. He was best in GTC class. So he had a successful comeback to our championship after long time. Overall podium was added by third Jacek Zielonka. The Polish driver won LMP class at the same time.
In GT3 class, Gregor Zsigo finished second behind Jedlinski. Piotr Wira was third. Libor Milota was fourth in his first race after return to our championship. But he was disqualified because of technical irregularities. In GTC, Josef Záruba was added by second Dennis Waszek and third Adam Rzepecki on the podium.
Matěj Pavlíček achieved another GT4 class victory. Ferenc Ficza finished second and David Vršecký was third.
