Filip Sandström achieved the championship title in his debut season in Clio Cup Bohemia. And the Swedish driver would like to continue in this category also next year.
Filip Sandström debuted in Clio Cup Bohemia this season. The Swede moved to this category from Clio Cup Central Europe with Carpek Service team. He took overall third place and achieved rookie title there. But this year, he was even more successful. He won seven from first ten races and secured the championship title already during the penultimate round at Slovakiaring.
And it looks like that Sandström will race in Clio Cup Bohemia also next season: „I would enjoy very much to do so. As it looks for now, we are aiming for a second year in Clio Cup Bohemia,“ Sandström said.
Except for champion, we also knew vice-champion of the 2021 Clio Cup Bohemia season before final round. It´s Erik Bertilsson. But we can look forward to a thrilling battle for third position during last round at Automotodrom Brno. Now, Juuso Panttila is third. But fourth Levente Losonczy (loss of three points), fifth Balint Hatvani (loss of 14 points), sixth Richard Meixner (loss of 34 points) and seventh Miha Primožič (loss of 38 points) still have at least mathematical chance. The top ten results from twelve races will be taken into consideration.
