More than thirty cars are on the starting list of ESET Sprint races. The list of GT cars is supplemented by prototypes including LMP specials. Meanwhile, the leader of the standings, Libor Milota, is one step away from the title.
Wins and difficulties accompanied Libor Milota during this season. However, the GT2 Motorsport driver still managed to stay at the top of the standings and is now just a few points away from becoming the champion with Mercedes AMG. His biggest opponent in the fight for the title, Gregor Zsigo, will not start in the sprint.
In addition to Milota, Piotr Wira with Mercedes AMG or Petr Kačírek with Audi R8 LMS Ultra GT3 will be presented in the GT3 category. However, the biggest representation will be the cars of the GTC category, where the home team Mičánek Motorsport powered by Buggyra will be presented. The brightly coloured Lamborghini Super Tropheo´s will be driven by Josef Záruba, Libor Dvořáček and Kurt Wagner. Dennis Waszek, who has been racing with Lamborghini all season, will have a serious competitor in Záruba. Waszek is also one step away from the title and only bad luck could deprive him of first place.
In total, there are thirteen GTC cars on the starting list, including the Polish PTT Racing team, which will field two Porsche cars, and the Austrian Kogelbauer Motorsport even three. Of course, the Czech GT Sports Technology team with Petr Brecka will also be present.
While the sprint in the GT3 category is almost decided in favour of Milota, Gregor Zsigo is one step away from the title in endurance, he shares the BMW M4 with Dennis Waszek for the whole season. In Brno, however, they will use an older type BMW M6. In the GT4 category, Predrag Šainovič and Luca Panizzi can confirm the endurance title with the Mercedes AMG GT4. In the GTC category, Martin Kaczmarski and Mateusz Lisowski with Porsche are close to the title, but Petr Brecka and Karel Neffe also have a chance. To win the title, they had to win the GTC category.
The rich starting field is the result of cooperation between the ESET Cup and the Austrian Touring Car Masters championship. The joint classification is a guarantee of interesting battles for the best places in the race.
