The Czech team Janík Motorsport has expanded its racing fleet with a KTM X-BOX GTX. The car will be seen mainly on the circuits in the ESET Cup series this season.
The KTM X-BOW GTX is powered by a five-cylinder engine with 530 hp and 650 Nm of torque. The carbon-bodied sports car weighs just 1,048kg, making it a pure racing machine.
Janík Motorsport is not only preparing the KTM for the ESET Cup, but also for selected domestic hill climb races. Of course, tests with existing and new drivers in the team are also planned. Currently, KTM is preparing for the first test kilometres and at the same time tuning the car’s colouring. The driver’s line-up for the upcoming season has not yet been announced.
The Janik Motorsport team has been active in several championships in the past season. In addition to TCR Europe with Hyundai Elantra cars, the team won the team standings in TCR Eastern Europe, where it competed mainly with Hyundai i30N cars. In the garage of the Šternberk headquaters are also single seater Lola, Norma sports prototypes and KTM X-Bow R cars.
