The second race weekend of the Clio Cup at Slovakia Ring opened with the best time set by Martin Kadlečík with the Clio IV, followed by local driver Adam Konopka with the Clio IV in the front row. Tomáš Pekař finished third and was also the fastest among the fifth-generation Clios.
Kadlečík set a time that no one could come close to. Konopka trailed him by nearly a second, and Pekař was 1.2 seconds behind. It is worth noting that the Clio IV has more power than the newer generation, giving Kadlečík a significant advantage on the very fast track.
Starting alongside Pekař in the second row will be Michael Hulm (Clio IV), while Szabolcs Lantos and Nik Štefančič, both driving the Clio V, will line up in the third row. The fourth row will see the winner from Most, Henrik Seibel, and Miha Primožič. They will be followed by Ivan Mandić and local driver Ondrej Fekete. David Malinkovski, Petar Milodarović, Dejan Robida, and Radoslav Obrtal will fill the remaining positions in the fifteen-car field. Jiří Zbožínek did not set a time in qualifying and will start the race from the last position.
