To the delight of the spectators in the Slovakia Ring stands, experienced driver Zdeno Mikuláško emerged as the fastest driver in the ESET GT qualifying session, starting with the ARC Bratislava team’s Lamborghini Huracan GT3.
The morning qualifying session was marked by red flags, which interrupted the battle for grid positions three times. With each restart, nearly forty cars took to the track simultaneously, making it challenging for many drivers to find clear space for an ideal qualifying lap.
Zdeno Mikuláško managed the traffic the best and will start the afternoon race from the front row alongside the LMP3 prototype of Dana Skočdopole, who set the overall fastest time.
Miro Konopka will start from the second row with another LMP3 prototype. Fourth fastest time was set by Libor Milota with Mercedes AMG GT3, but he received 5 grip penalty for ignoring red flag.
Next to the Konopka will start Filip Salaquarda, who can secure his excellent season with the GT3 classification title. Behind them will be Nicolas Leutwiler with the Porsche 911 GT3. Seventh was Štefan Rosina with the BMW M4 GT3. The fastest times in the GTC category once again belong to the Mičánek Motorsport team. Eight Jáchym Galáš beat his teammate Matěj Pavlíček by four tenths of a second.
