The Swiss driver Sandro Zeller was unbeatable at Red Bull Ring this weekend. After a win on Saturday, he added one more victory in L21 Formula on Sunday. He started from second place after a wet had affected a qualifying session in the morning. Bartolomiej Mirecki took a pole position in his Formula Renault car. However, Mirecki’s car didn’t stand a chance against faster F3 cars in a dry race and Zeller took the lead already in the first lap.
Alessandro Bracalente finished second, just seven tenths behind Zeller. He was looking for any opportunity, but Zeller didn’t give him a chance. Andrea Cola finished third ahead of Phillip Regensperger and Marcel Tobler.
Bartolomiej Mirekci might not have a chance against F3 cars, but he at least managed to win the F3 Trophy category. He was joined on the podium by Antonín Sus and Robert Siska from Inter Euro Competition team. Vladimír Netušil (Effective Racing) finished fourth.
Janos Magyar from Magyar Racing team won the D2-2.0 category, while Lars Baumeler (Equipe Bernoise) was unstoppable in F4 Trophy.
