Marcin Jedlinski declassed competitors and won the evenfall endurance

Although in the time practice for the Saturday endurance race Marcin Jedlinski only ended with the fourth best lap time, immediately after start he advanced and before the starting field ended the first lap this Polish speeder firmly settled in the lead. Since that moment he did not let anybody dethrone him and thus Jedlinski drove safely for his sovereign victory without big problems.

The second rank belonged to the family duo Miro Konopka and Matěj Konopka, whose Lamborghini Huracán also won the GTC category before the Czech pair Milan Galáš and Libor Milota in Porsche 911.

However, before the stops in the pits the Konopkas watched carefully for Gregor Zsigo and his Alpina BMW B6, driving just a couple of metres after them. After the pit stops the situation calmed down, though, and the race was finally won by Marcin Jedlinski followed by Miro Konopka-Matěj Konopka and Stanislav Jedlinski – the father of today´s winner.

The fourth rank was won by the pair Gregor Zsigo and Lubomír Jakubík. At the beginning of the race this “potato medal” was the subject of a hard struggle between the Audi cars. Richard Chlad Senior, starting from the pole position in his Audi R8 LMS dropped to the fourth rank and held behind him another two cars with the four rings symbol. Especially the Audi of the AMD Slovenija avto team driven by the pair Rado Raspet – Matěj Sešel attacked Chlad fiercely, before he handed over the steering wheel to his son in the middle of the race. Richard Chlad Jr., however, did not drive long, and had to give up the race for technical issues.

GT3 Trophy cups were distributed among the winners Lubomír Jakubík and Gregor Zsigo followed by Stefan Rosina and Gregor Zsigo, who changed cars in the course of the race.

The victory in the TCR category belonged to the crew Peter Eibisberger–Mario Klammer in Opel Astra and the second rank to the pair Csaba Töth – Gabor Kismarty in Seat Cupra.

“I am much satisfied with the result, we are still in the lead and there are mere two races left before the end of the championship, one at the Slovakia Ring and the other in Brno. I am also very happy with the Hankook tyres, managing the endurance perfectly. My quickest lap was the eleventh lap and I was already the second pilot in the car which shows how well the tyres cope,” said Gabor Kismarty in the finish.
