Marcin Jedlinski is an overall winner of ESET V4 Cup

Marcin Jedlinski has become a new champion of ESET V4 Cup. After several years of domination by Czech and Slovak drivers, there is a Polish winner for the first time ever.

Marcin Jedlinski was unbeatable this season thanks to his performances with Audi R8 LMS GT3, prepared by Olimp Racing team. He was always amongst the favourites, in both Sprint and Endurance races, and most of the time, he did not disappoint his fans. In Endurance, he even managed to win all five races and gained the maximum amount of points. In Sprint he took six wins and finished second in the remaining three races.

His biggest competitor in the ESET V4 Cup was Josef Záruba from Mičánek Motorsport, racing with Lamborghini Huracán EVO in GTC category. The Czech driver managed to beat Jedlinski in Sprints, however, his limited running in Endurance series cost him any chances to win the championship and lost to Jedlinski by 73 points.

Dennis Waszek, who also raced with Lamborghini Huracán GTC, finished third in the championship. He lost only ten points to Záruba, but also managed to beat Lubomír Jakubík of Trevor Racing by just three points. The Slovak driver drove BMW Alpina GT3 in the GT3 Trophy category and also won the Endurance championship. Tomáš Erdélyi finished the ESET V4 Cup’s top 5. Erdélyi was also Jakubík’s biggest competitor in the GT3 Trophy and he also managed to win the Sprint championship.
