Title in Endurance in TC-3500 category is a result of their perfect season. Gábor Kismarty-Lechner with his teammate Csaba Tóth had stable performance, they won races and in the end, with Seat Cupra of Zengo Motorsport team, they won the championship.
You had really succesfull season in ESET and you won Endurance championship in TC-3500. How satisfied are you with this season?
I’m happy with the season, to win the championship is always fantastic! We had some good fights, and also a ‘clear’ season. We had no crashes and only one small technical problem in Red Bull Ring. We had a fantastic car from Zengo Motorsport!
You shared a car with Csaba Tóth, how was the cooperation between you and Csaba?
Csaba Toth is my teammate for years, we can work together, and we can help each other. Our driving style is very close to each other, so it is easy to find the best set-up in all tracks.
Which race are you going to remember for a long time?
It is difficult to choose, because we had good memories from all races. But the two hours race in Slovakiaring is always something special!
Which circuit in this year calendar of ESET was your favorite?
I loved all the tracks, but naturally our home track – Hungaroring – giving us the most emotional experience!
What are your plans for the rest of this year and what are your plans for next year?
This year we have still one race in Hungaroring to finish the Hungarian Championship where we are leading our category as well. For next year we will keep the same car, same team and same drivers. As a champion our main goal is to do our best to have the same result for next year!
