The first-ever FIA Motorsport Games event will feature also two Czech drivers – Dušan Kouřil jr. in Touring Cars category, and Václav Šafář jr. in Formula 4 category.
This year‘s debut of the FIA Motorsport Games, that is being specifically designed as the Motorsport equivalent to the Olympic Games, is set to take place on the first weekend in November at Vallelunga circuit, Italy.
And the Czech Republic will be represented at this event with some familiar names. The entry list for the Touring Car category includes Dušan Kouřil jr.
The Czech driver has competed in the TCR category this season and he is definitely not just anybody, he managed to win two races and finished 3rd in the overall standings. Kouřil jr. chose Hyundai i30 N TCR for the premiere season of the TCR category and he takes this car with him to Vallelunga as well.
However, he is going to face some serious competition with drivers like Gilles Magnus or Luca Engstler, both have managed to win one race in the TCR Europe series. The latter also raced in the WTCR series at Slovakia Ring.
But there will be more participants coming from the ESET V4 Cup as it looks like that Václav Šafář is going to head to Rome as well. The Czech driver is set to race in the Formula 4 category.
