The Slovakian driver, Antal Zsigo, was the fastest competitor in the ESET Cup with his BMW M4 GT3. He will start from the pole position in both sprints at the German Lausitzring.
In the first qualifying session, Antal Zsigo from Racing Trevor team clocked a time of 1:45.597. He improved by more than two-tenths in the second qualifying session. In both cases, Antonín Herbeck with a Pagani Zonda from the Rock Robots team finished just behind him. Herbeck was also the fastest in the GTX category.
Dennis Waszek, driving a Lamborghini SuperTropheo for the GT2 Motorsport team, was the best in the GTC category. This Czech driver also topped the qualifying sessions.
Alex Tlustý, with a Praga R1 in the GTX-P category, will start right behind Waszek in the first race. In the second sprint, Czech driver Petr Koukola, with a KTM GTX from the Orlen Janík Motorsport team, will start behind Waszek. Koukola won the GTX category in both qualifying sessions, ahead of the Lotus Exige V6 Cup cars driven by Gábor Tima and Ronald Andraczek.
The closest battle was in the GTC1 category for Porsche cup cars. Petr Brecka from the GT Sports Technology team and Bob Bau from the Kogelbauer Motorsport team fought for the best times. Brecka was the fastest in the first qualifying session, while Bau was quicker in the second.
Lamborghini SuperTropheo from Mičánek Motorsport team will also compete at Lausitzring. The Italian GTC car will be driven by Libor Dvořáček in the sprints.
