Buggyra Zero Mileage Racing team plans to enter the GT4 category with its Mercedes-AMG. It is going to help to develop young talents.
The GT4 category is going to expand this year, and it will be a big addition. The renowned Buggyra Zero Mileage Racing team aims to enter the category with its brand-new Mercedes-AMG GT4.
“It’s currently one of the best racing cars to prepare young drivers without using too much grip. We plan to enter this new special into the selected European GT4 series, for now, we’ve chosen the French championship. We also want to race in the ESET Cup that’s becoming more and more popular,” said the team boss Martin Koloc.
Buggyra wants to use this car to develop young and talented drivers, under the leadership of David Vršecký. The Buggyra driver was behind the wheel of the GT3 car in the first two opening rounds of the season. While he is currently in 2nd place in the Sprint standings, with one victory, he is also 5th in the Endurance championship with Aliyyah Koloc. And she is one of the names that are under consideration for the GT4 drivers’ line-up, alongside her sister Yasmeen, who is currently racing in the Renault Clio series.
Without any doubts, the GT4 category is going to become even more exciting with the Buggyra Zero Mileage Racing team. And the racing is already very good in both Sprint and Endurance events, thanks to spectacular efforts by RTR Projects, Trevor Racing or Lema Racing teams. And there is an interest coming from one of our former top teams Šenkýř Motorsport – they have not ruled out a possible GT4 entry in one of the races this season.
