This year’s Clio Cup Bohemia championship continues this weekend with Round 4 of the season at Grobnik. The Czech team Carpek Service aims to take another victory, but they will face a tough competition.
Filip Sanström has had a perfect start to the season. The Swedish driver dominated both races in the opening round of the season at Hungaroring, and then he continued winning at Slovakiaring. However, his domination ended a month ago at Poznan. In the first race, he finished in only 7th place following a puncture, but in the second race, he improved and finish in 2nd position and on the podium. But he is still the current championship leader with 134 points, and he intends to return to winning in Croatia.
But Sandström is not the only driver with the highest ambitions. There are also his Carpek Service teammates Erik Bertilsson, Juuso Panttila and Richard Meixner. While Bertilsson and Panttila have already taken a victory this season, Meixner is still waiting even for a podium. Bertilsson is currently 2nd in the standings, ahead of Meixer who has been very consistent so far. Panttila is only 5th in the championship standings.
Others have also shown great potential, like Z.S.P Motorsport Kft. drivers, led by Levente Losonczy with 3 podiums and Balint Hatvani with just one less TOP 3 finish. But they want to improve even more.
Of course, it is impossible to forget Lema Racing that will enter four cars into the upcoming weekend with Miha Primožič, Predrag Šainovič, Sandi Jeram and Igor Tomljanovič or the Buggyra team with Yasmeen Koloc.
