As expected, Marcin Jedlinski took a pole position for the GT3 category race with his Mercedes-AMG GT3. In the first row, yesterday’s winner was joined by another Mercedes-AMG GT3, this time with David Vršecký.
However, the Polish driver did not enjoy the lead for too long. Just after the second corner, Jedlinski’s yellow Mercedes slowed down with technical issues, and he was forced to retire. It was David Vršecký who took the lead, and thanks to his brilliant performance, the Buggyra Racing team took the first victory of the season. Not even a safety car was able to stop Vršecký, as the race had to be neutralized in the first minutes.
Behind Vršecký, there was a beautiful battle going on between two GT3 cars and Adam Rzepecki with a Porsche GTC. Stanislaw Jedlinski with his orange Mercedes-AMG GT3 tried to defend his 2nd place ahead of Gregor Zsigo with a BMW M6 GT3. But with just six minutes to go, Zsigo used the lapped cars to force his way through to the 2nd place in the standings ahead of Jedlinski. Rzepecki followed him soon after.
But it was David Vršecký who took the glory in the GT3 category ahead of Gregor Zsigo from Trevor Racing and Stanislaw Jedlinski from Olimp Racing, although Polish driver was penalized for incident with Jacek Zielonka and up to the third place moved Petr Kačírek with Audi R8 LMS Ultra GT3.
Adam Rzepecki with his Porsche GTC won in the GTC category, with István Bota in a Ferrari 488 Challenge and Kalmán Bodis with Porsche GTC joining him on the podium.
In the GT4 category, Ferenc Ficza in a BMW GT4 won as his biggest rival – Matěj Pavlíček with a KTM X-Bow GT4 – had bad luck at the beginning of the race and he had to settle for only 3rd place behind Greg Šimunovič with a Porsche Cayman GT4. Miro Konopka then showed a dominant performance in the D5 category, and the ARC Bratislava driver won ahead of Václav Janík and Jacek Zielonka.
