A dominant weekend at Slovakia Ring continued for Paolo Brajnik on Sunday. The Italian driver with a Dallara F318 took his 2nd win of the weekend.
Brajnik started from pole position, side by side with Janos Magyar. However, Brajnik’s competition did not even have time to find an opportunity on how to beat him as the Italian driver put on a spectacular performance. Brajnik won both races at Slovakia Ring, making it four out of four this season.
“It was a great race and not even that hard. I had a good start and after that, I was just managing the lead. I like Slovakia Ring, it’s a fast track and I like that,” said Brajnik after Sunday’s race.
Janos Magyar finished 2nd, after a similarly lonely drive as Brajnik. Vladimír Netušil crossed the finish line in 3rd place ahead of Tomáš Chabr, who had to defend from Danny Luderer for the whole race. However, the Austrian could not beat the Czech driver.
In the F3 category, Franz Woss used his experience to win ahead of Luca Iannaccone, while in the F4 category, a Hungarian driver Benjamin Berta took the victory.
