The draft 2019 calendar or ESET V4 Cup is featuring five events in total, the same number as this year. However, the season will start two weeks earlier.
As a reason for moving the opening round of the season was stated a clash between ESET V4 Cup and the FIA WTCR championship.
“A very extensive programme of both series would not allow us to make a working schedule. Also, there is a problem with the pit boxes as there is never enough of them and our teams need them,” said Josef Křenek.
Red Bull Ring stays firm on the calendar with an event in May. Also, a race weekend in Grobnik has been moved to an earlier date at the end of July. Slovakia Ring follows with its special two-hour long endurance race and Hungaroring will now host the season finale at the beginning of October. The final event in Hungary is also set to offer something special with 3 Sprint races.
