We saw two winners in Twingo Cup races at Slovakiaring. Luka Glazer took triumph on Saturday and Szabolcs Lantos was best on Sunday. Nik Stefančič kept the championship lead.
Twingo Cup races were also part of the penultimate round of the 2021 season. This category brings the closest races of our series on a regular basis. On Saturday, we saw Race 1. Second race of the weekend took place on Sunday.
The most happy person was Luka Glazer after Race 1. The Slovenian defeated the second Mihailo Milenković only by 307 thousandths. Luka Grm finished third and achieved podium result as well. He crossed the line only 471 thousandths behind Glazer. The fourth Matej Ivanuša (+0,554) and fifth David Stušek (+0,672) also finished in gap of one second from Glazer.
On Sunday, Szabolcs Lantos scored victory. The Hungarian driver significantly improved his result from Race 1. He finished 15th there. Matej Ivanuša crossed the line as second with loss of 207 thousandths and the championship leader Nik Stefančič finished third. Stefančič had an unlucky Race 1. He retired from it.
The Saturday winner Luka Glazer didn´t finish in Race 2. The second best driver from Race 1 Mihajlo Milenković finished sixth and third driver from Race 1 Luka Grm was fifth.
The ESET Race Star supported driver Mihajlo Mladenović arrived at Slovakiaring after very successful performance during the Grobnik round in July. He won both races in Croatia. At Slovakiaring, he didn´t finish Race 1 and took 4th place in Race 2.
