We will probably see Lubomír Jakubík also during 2021 season. The Slovakian driver is set to race at Slovakiaring in endurance race of GT4. He revealed that and much more in our interview.
You raced in the GT4 Endurance at Slovakiaring and in Brno last year. You defended the colours of Trevor Racing and you created the crew with Ferenc Ficza. You won at Slovakiaring and finished 2nd in Brno. How are you happy with 2020 season?
It was a good season. I focused especially on driving of safety car in the last years. But despite that, I received an offer from Trevor Racing to compete in two races with GT4 car. Considering I didn´t race in previous two years, I think it was a success.
How was the cooperation with Ferenc Ficza?
It was good. Ferenc is a good guy. He is fast, he can set up the car and he doesn´t make unnecessary mistakes.
Will we see you in our championship this year again?
We are negotiating about the start at Slovakiaring now. But we will see how the situation will develop. You see it also for yourself how it is developing now. But I should race at Slovakiaring.
If you will really start at Slovakiaring, will it be again with GT4 car?
I will race with GT4 car or with GT3 car.
Will we see you only in endurance races again? What about sprint races?
I will probably race only in endurance races. I don´t like sprint races too much.
What do you think about our championship? What do you like most there?
I think it is a championship, which is made very well. There are good people here. But everything is about money. I would say it is very good championship considering finance.
