Marcin Jedlinski dominated Saturday’s GT Sprint at Slovakiaring. He was joined on the overall GT podium by a GTC category winner Dennis Waszek and David Vršecký. Matěj Pavlíček was victorious in the GT4 category, with Miro Konopka finishing 1st in prototypes.
While Jedlinski started from pole position, he lost the GT lead right away to the GTC category leader Dennis Waszek. However, it did not take him more than just a few corners to regain the lead again. After that, he was unstoppable.
Dennis Waszek had a reason to be happy as he was able to maintain his 2nd place in the overall GT standings. He crossed the finish line as the GTC category winner. The GT podium was completed with David Vršecký, who also finished 2nd in the GT3 category.
In the GT3 category, Jedlinski and Vršecký were joined on the podium by last year’s GT3 Sprint champion Gregor Zsigo.
Tomáš Miniberger from his own team RTR Projects crossed the line in 2nd place in the GTC category with a brand-new KTM X-Bow GTX car, that had its debut in our championship today. He was able to finish on the podium despite having a spin earlier. Adam Rzepecki took 3rd place in the GTC category.

But the RTR Projects team had definitely more reasons to smile today than just for Tomáš Miniberger’s result in the GTC category. Their driver Matěj Pavlíček won in the GT4 category, and he was joined on the podium by Ferenc Ficza from Trevor Racing and Sergej Pavlovec from the RTR Projects team as well.
In the prototype category, it was a family battle for the win between Miro Konopka and his son Maťo Konopka, both racing for the ARC Bratislava team. In the end, it was Miro who could celebrate a victory ahead of Maťo and Jacek Zielonka in 3rd place.
