In a closely contested qualifying session, Michael Sauter of Sauter Engineering secured his first pole position of the FIA F4 CEZ Championship at Slovakiaring. He fended off a strong challenge from Jenzer Motorsport drivers, with Reno Francot, the championship leader, falling just 0.062 seconds short of Sauter’s time.
The second row of the grid will be occupied by Ethan Ischer and Mathias Bjerre Jakobsen, both of Jenzer Motorsport. Oliver Michl of Gender Racing finished in fifth place, followed by Miroslav Mikes of SAPE Motorsport in sixth.
Race 1 will commence on Saturday at 10:50 CET, while the second race will begin at 18:00 CET.
