TCR Eastern Europe series is heading into its 2nd season, which introduces several changes.
First, there is a brand-new website dedicated to the championship, bringing all the latest news from the paddock. Fans will also be able to find all rules and regulations there.
Currently the most important information is that drivers and teams can use a special offer to pay the entry fee, that will be available until March 31. After that, it will be possible to register only on a race-by-race basis.
The championship itself is also getting a higher status. After running as a Trophy last season, in 2020 it will be run under the official TCR banner as a Touring Car Series.
“TCR Eastern Europe becomes a fully international series. It’s great for our whole region. The TCR is currently the most important touring car racing category and it’s a future. It’s a huge honour to be part of the TCR family and we’ll do our best to show ourselves in the best light. We have great circuits, teams and drivers, so also a great potential to build a successful championship,” said Josef Křenek, a deputy promoter of TCR EE.
