Tomáš Pekař won both Renault Clio Cup races also at Slovakiaring. The driver from Mělník came significantly closer to the title thanks to these results.
It was Tomáš Pekař, who started the 2020 Renault Clio Cup season best in Grobnik, Croatia. The Carpek Racing driver wasn´t defeated in any race in the Adriatic and he returned home with a maximum amount of 50 points.
And Pekař didn´t lose his invincibility also at Slovakiaring. He took two victories also in Orechová Potôň and he leads the overall standings with 100 points after first two rounds. The difference between Pekař and the second best driver is 58 points. It means that if Pekař will lead by at least 50 points also after the races at Masaryk Circuit in Brno, he will be able to celebrate the title. But for now, there are still 100 points in the game and the theoretical chance still lives for all.
