Polish driver Piotr Wira will be on the ESET Cup grid again this year. Good Speed Racing Team driver is staying in the cockpit of Mercedes AMG GT3 Evo car and he will be enjoying every moment behind the wheel.
Wira finished third in the driver´s standings in ESET GT Sprint 2022 season, achieved four TOP3 finishes, although without victory. However it doesn´t mean, he is disappointed: I´m very happy with the 2022 season. The results I achieved and the amount of sports satisfaction, that ESET Cup provide me, are the best recommendation for continuing in the series this year,” says Wira.
He hasn´t change anything for 2023 season. He´ll race with Mercedes AMG GT3 Evo in Good Speed Racing team, consisted mostly of young racing enthusiastic engineers. “Car racing is a passion to which I currently devote a lot of energy and commitment. I am happy with the progress I am making as a driver, but I realize how much I still have to learn – every kilometre on the track is priceless,” continues Wira, who is also looking forward to the Oschersleben.
“The new track in the ESET CUP series is a very good decision, it fits perfectly into our training and team plans,” adds Wira.
