Positions in Junior Trophy standings can still change next weekend

Although ESET Cup season is already finished, the overall Junior Trophy standings across the all series in the ESET Cup, TCR Eastern Europe and F4 CEZ is not final yet, as F4 CEZ series is heading to its final event at Balaton Park.

Young talents need to be promoted and seen in various ways. One of the priorities of the ESET Cup and others series is to support young drivers. Since the inception of the ESET Cup, junior awards have been presented to the most successful drivers under the age of 23.

It doesn’t matter if the driver is racing in touring cars, sports cars, or open-wheel vehicles. Thanks to the points coefficient based on the number of entries in the category, everyone has equal conditions. The best of the 12 results this year will be counted towards the Junior Trophy classification, and the decision will be made at the last round of F4 CEZ at Balaton Park, determining the Junior of the year.

Martin Kadlečík, the winner of the Clio Cup trophy, currently leads the Junior Trophy with 111.1 points. Jáchym Galáš is in second place, followed by Michal Pavlíček with 102.77 and 101.2 points, respectively. This trio won’t improve their points score as their seasons are finished. However, F4 racer Reno Francot is in fourth place and still has three races left in the season, with only eleven counted results, so his 96.63 points will surely increase.

Therefore, nothing has been decided yet in this classification, and we will have to wait until the final round of the F4 CEZ championship at Balaton Park on the 7th and 8th of October for the final result.
