In four months, the next season of the ESET Cup will kick off, and drivers and spectators can look forward to several new features, including additional circuits on the calendar.
In the 2024 season, the ESET Cup will offer seven race weekends. The new season will start at the end of April with a race at Balaton Park in Hungary, which will have its premiere in the championship, and the majority of drivers have not raced there before. In May, the popular weekend at Red Bull Ring will continue, followed by the ESET Cup moving to the Hungaroring Formula 1 circuit in mid-June. At the end of June, there will also be a race at Lausitzring in Germany, which is the second new addition to the calendar. After the break in July, the racetracks at Autodrom Most and Slovakia Ring will await the drivers. The season will traditionally conclude with a race in Brno.
The ESET Cup series will be joined at most events by the Clio Cup, Twingo Cup, TCR Eastern Europe, and F4 CEZ series.
Due to the expansion of the calendar to seven races, the best results from six races will be counted. The starting grid will also be enriched by the P9 Challenge championship in three instances, which will expand the GT car lineup at Red Bull Ring, Lausitzring, and Most.
In the GTC category, which is dominated by Lamborghini Supertropheo cars and older Porsche models aren´t competetive enough for Italian cars, a new category called GTC1 will be introduced for Porsche 991 versions and older models.
