The Slovenian driver won the opening race of the Twingo Cup at Hungaroring after starting from third place. The 25-minute sprint had to be interrupted in the middle because Dejan Robida left a long oil stain on the track due to technical problems, and it took several tens of minutes for the track marshals to remove it.
After the long break, the race resumed, and the tight battles in the Twingo Cup continued. Rok Cerar eventually emerged as the winner, leaving Mihajlo Mladenovic almost two seconds behind. Luka Glazer finished third, and Luka Grm, who started from pole position, finished fourth. The top five was completed by Miha Fabijan.
