Not even the Race 2 of Renault Clio Cup series at Slovakia Ring brought a different winner. Tomáš Pekař remains unbeatable in his yellow car of Carpek Racing as he took another victory.
Once again, Pekař managed to take pole position for today’s Clio Cup race. He was joined in the front row by Jonas Karklys. However, he did not use the opportunity to challenge Pekař and he even lost his 2nd place after Turn 2, after a great start by Adam Rzepecki. After two more laps, the other Rzepecki Tomasz followed his brother and took 3rd place. The Polish duo then started to put pressure on the leading Pekař.
But Pekař handled it brilliantly and did not let anybody catch him. He managed the gap and controlled the pace, while the Rzepecki brothers started fighting each other. After a few laps, Tomasz got ahead of his brother and the order remained the same until the finish line.
Another great battle was also between three drivers behind the TOP 3, Andrea Tronconi, Jonas Karklys and Pawel Wysmyk.
