Tomaž Trček additionally crowned Twingo Cup winner

Traditionally dramatic moments were offered by the final race of the weekend Slovak Grand Prix. The final sprint this year belonged to Twingo Cup, a guarantee of thrilling situations and frequent collisions. And Slovakia was no exception.

The pole-position was the starting place for the winner of the Saturday race Gasper Dernošek, who achieved quicker lap time in the time practice than the Kramer brothers. However, in the race itself, Dernovšek was deprived of his hopes in the very first lap where Alfred Kramer took the lead over from him. The race continued with frequent overtaking manoeuvres as typical of it, which, however, ended up in accidents. Both Alfred Kramer and Dernovšek were penalised with 30-secons which deprived them of decent ranks. Alfred Kramer was the saddest, as he had passed the finish line in the lead with an advantage of 0.041 over the second-ranking Tomaž Trček. The half-minute penalisation, however, pulled him down to the fifth rank in front of the second sinner Dernovšek.

The race was thus finally won by Tomaž Trček with a five-second advantage over Jaka Marinšek and the third-ranking Stefan Kramer, in the interim ranking right after Trček and only a couple of points before his brother Alfred
