The fourth event of the ESET Cup will take place in the coming weekend. This time, the series will take place at the Croatian circuit Grobnik, which is located near Rijeka.
As part of the racing weekend, we will see the traditional series that are part of the ESET Cup throughout the season. The main draw is the ESET GT, about which we wrote here.
There is also an interesting title fight taking place in the Clio Cup and more information can be found here.
After the absence in Poznan, we will see the popular Twingo Cup again, which is expected to have a big starting field. Formula racing will not be missing either. Several of the newest Formula 4 Tatuus T421 cars will appear in the starting field.
Grobnik Automotodrom is a typical representative of old school circuits. It was opened in 1978 and during that time the profile of the track has practically not changed. And that’s good news. For drivers, it is a challenge they will hardly find on other circuits in the calendar. Track limits here determine the character of the place and instead of asphalt zones, Croatians prefer traditional gravel traps or grass fields. Competitors simply pay for the mistake, because they can damage the car or lose of time.
