Rudolf Hrubý, co-owner of the Slovakia Ring circuit and co-founder of ESET, has died at the age of 69.
“With deep sorrow, we have received the unexpected news of the passing of a valued and close individual, Mr. Rudolf Hrubý, a long-time supporter and partner of our motorsport project. We express our deepest and sincerest condolences to his immediate family, friends, and all acquaintances. May he rest in peace,” Slovakia Ring announced on their website.
Rudolf Hrubý, a successful entrepreneur, was among other things a co-owner of the Slovan Bratislava ice hockey club and initiated a hydrogen bus project in Most and Litvínov. He was one of the three founders of the software company ESET and served as its longtime financial director.
